Fever took a third, an assassin on the wind. The next third were vanquished, the population thinned. Plague! Like a shroud! Ashen flesh decayed. In the collapse of the realm we knew, those twin furies mete punishment undue. Together we could stand to face the threat. Alas, our disunity hastened the onset of war! Betwixt the realms! A futile, van crusade. Whence wake the furies, ruin, death, and pain. Whence rest the furies, what of us will remain? We turned against each other to bring a new dark age.
