Eternally, we suffer, in pain, a dull longing. Alone, yet together, in glacial isolation. Pursued by the fever, across wind swept plains, waiting for death to mercifully claim us. I call out your name, like an incantation, and pray it reaches your ears, echoing across time. I watch us waste away as the world burns. I feel us led astray, as the sky turns. I welcome the end; that obsidian darkness singing us to slumber with its siren song. Wrapped up in blackest night, at last we slip away. We Lost souls, intertwined, as oblivion beckons.
